Biography

Dr. Cristiana Palmela Pereira received her DDS degree in Dental Medicine from Dental Faculty, Lisbon University in 2000, and her MSc and Ph.D. degree in Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences from Medical Faculty, Lisbon University, Portugal, respectively in 2005 and 2010. She is Assistant Professor at the Dental Faculty, University of Lisbon. During this period, Dr. Cristiana Palmela Pereira also worked as a Forensic Adviser (Forensic Consultant of Forensic Dentistry) at the Portuguese Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, South Branch in Lisbon, until present. She is Forensic Odontologist of the DVI (Disaster Victim Identification) Portuguese Team.
